Donate / funding support
Financial support can help sustain writing, experimentation, public communication, translation, and future tools.
AI should not replace human judgment. It should help human beings think, compare, and choose more clearly.
Support reflection, not passive dependence.
Support plural perspectives, not one oracle.
Support the ability to ask our own questions.

Until now, ZEN LAMP and related public-interest work have been sustained as much as possible through personal effort and personal funding.
However, continuing this work — English outreach, translation, website operation, educational materials, prototype development, printing, music, fiction, and public communication — is beyond what one individual can sustainably carry alone.
For that reason, we humbly welcome voluntary support for this public-interest work.
ZEN LAMP and related work are part of Wakouzan Kichijoji’s broader mission: supporting people with care, reflection, and dignity.
Our ordinary temple care, memorial services, and consultations do not depend on donations. The Japanese pages for local temple care remain separate from this English support page.
Support described here is for public-interest work connected to human-centered AI, ZEN LAMP, English outreach, fiction, educational materials, music, and communication about human judgment in the age of AI.
Wakouzan Kichijoji / ZEN LAMP Project has been set up as an English-facing profile connected to the verified nonprofit religious organization Wakouzan Kichijoji in Japan.
Goodstack verification helps establish nonprofit credibility for support ecosystems and partner programs. Goodstack support, when available, is received by the verified nonprofit organization, not as a purchase, fee, or commercial payment.

WARABE represents the “Wa” aspect of ZEN LAMP: gentleness, care, and the quiet space before judgment.
As a small token of gratitude, supporters may receive a WARABE thank-you postcard printed on Japanese washi-style paper when mailing is practical.
In the age of AI, this small card is a reminder that human thought still has texture.
This is not a product, purchase benefit, or guaranteed reward, but a simple expression of thanks.
We publish an annual support report on this website after the end of each year.
The report summarizes the total amount of support received, the main uses of funds, and the next year’s focus. Individual donor names and personal information are not published.
First annual summary report planned after the end of 2026.
Financial support can help sustain writing, experimentation, public communication, translation, and future tools.
Introductions to researchers, AI practitioners, policy people, publishers, or aligned organizations are valuable.
Invitations to speak, write, collaborate, or discuss Roundtable AI / ZEN LAMP are welcome.
